Who receives incident notifications?
Sympa publishes information about service incidents and disruptions on the Sympa Status page.
Subscriptions are managed individually rather than centrally by your organisation. This means anyone in your organisation can subscribe to receive notifications directly.
You do not need help from your IT team or a Sympa administrator to manage your subscription.
What happens when a subscribed colleague leaves?
Subscriptions are linked to individual email addresses rather than managed centrally by your organisation.
If a subscribed colleague leaves, you do not need to transfer their subscription. However, their subscription does not automatically end when they leave. If their email address is no longer active, they will no longer receive notifications at that address.
Any colleague who needs to receive notifications can subscribe using their own email address.
